NEUROLOGROS
Coming soon · A Neurologros app

VoiceBoard: a voice for those who can't speak yet.

A pictogram communication app for autistic or nonverbal children ages 2 to 6. They tap a picture, build a sentence, and the tablet speaks it out loud.

It started at home: Zaira's youngest daughter is autistic.

How it works

Three taps to say what they need

  1. Pick a starter

"I want," "I feel," "I need," "Help": starter phrases always within reach.

  2. Tap the pictograms

Organized by topics the child recognizes: food, feelings, family, home, school.

  3. The app says it

With a natural voice, in their language. The sentence stays visible so adults can read it too.

  4. Adults stay involved

From the dashboard, mom, dad or the therapist can adjust the board and track progress.

Why we built it

Because communication shouldn't have to wait for words

Many autistic children understand far more than they can say. When they have no way to express that they're hungry, that something hurts, or that they want to go home, frustration shows up as a meltdown.

Augmentative and alternative communication gives them another way. And far from holding speech back, it supports it. At Neurologros we use it every day, at home and with the families we work with. VoiceBoard is the tool we wished we had.

Every mind is unique, and every achievement counts. Including the first "I want."
